What is Champions League?
Champions League is a new invite-only training program designed for U7 & U8 players that are currently registered in our FirstKick program and are ready to take the next step in their soccer development. Champions League will give our youngest players more opportunities to develop their technical skills, confidence on the ball, decision-making, and understanding of the game, in a challenging but age-appropriate environment.
A New Step in the Valor Player Pathway
Champions League creates a new step in the Valor player pathway for players who begin their soccer journey in our FirstKick program. FirstKick gives our youngest players the opportunity to starting building on their soccer foundation, develop a love for the game, and grow in a fun, age-appropriate environment. As players develop, some may be ready for a more focused training environment and additional challenges.
Champions League provides a bridge between our grassroots programming and the next stages of Valor's competitive pathway. It gives select U7 & U8 players additional opportunities to develop the foundational skills they've learned in FirstKick, while also helping our coaches identify the players who may be looking to pursue future Premier opportunities within Valor.
Free ID Session
Every U7 & U8 player currently participating in our Fall FirstKick season is welcome to attend our free Champions League Identification Session.
There is no invitation required to attend the ID session. It is an opportunity for our coaches to work with FirstKick players and identify those who may benefit from the additional training provided through Champions League.
