Fundraisers help the club offset operational costs. Each Elite 64, Premier, and Select team will be required to provide contributions to the club's community events. U9-U15 teams will be required to provide one gift basket ($100 value or greater) and three to four (3-4) desserts at Valor Soccer's club appreciation celebration Valor Day.(https://www.valorsoccer.com/valor-day) U16-U19 teams will be required to provide one gift basket ($100 value or greater) at Valor Soccer's Holiday Open House.(https://www.valorsoccer.com/holiday) Teams are also encouraged to hold team-specific fundraisers, such as car washes, restaurant nights, etc., to offset team fees.

To help keep overall club costs down, each Elite, Premier, and Select family (multiple players count as one family) is obligated to serve eight (8) hours of volunteer time over the course of the playing cycle. Volunteer opportunities include tasks such as setup on game days, assistance at club events, administrative support, etc. At the time of registration, you may choose to buy out of completing volunteer hours for a one-time price of $200. This opportunity is only available at the time of registration. If you have multiple Elite 64/Premier/Select players in your family, you only need to choose and pay for the buyout one time. If you do not choose the buyout and you do not complete your volunteer hours in full, you will be charged $300, which will be applied to your final payment of club dues. • Initial deadline for U16-U19 (2006-2009) Boys: Jan. 5, 2025 • Initial deadline for all other age groups: March 2, 2025 If you complete your volunteer hours between the initial deadline and the final deadline, you will be refunded. • Final deadline for U16-U19 (2006-2009) Boys: Feb. 23, 2025 • Final deadline for all other age groups: April 20, 2025 Financial aid applicants CANNOT choose to buy out of volunteer hours.

Team fees vary per team. These fees are calculated by the Team Manager and include any extracurricular activities the team decides to participate in. These activities include entry fees for tournaments, team-building activities, team parties, and travel expenses. Team fees also cover travel expenses for coaches (mileage and travel tournaments) and chaperones (travel tournaments only).
