  2026 Tryouts

  Overview

Valor Soccer is holding open tryouts for the 2026/27 Playing Cycle! Tryouts are required for placement within Valor Soccer's competitive programs - Elite, Premier, and Select.  

NEW Beginning 2026-27 Playing Cycle: 

U.S. Soccer is changing youth age groups from a birth-year system (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31) to a seasonal-year system (Aug. 1 - Jul. 31) starting this season. ​Check out the calculation tool or table below to see what age group your child falls into with this new formation cycle. ​

  Program Eligibility & Team Formation

A $35 tryout fee will apply for online registrants.

Online tryout registration will close at 4:00 PM one day prior to the

first day of tryouts for each age group - birth year.

Tryout fees are nonrefundable.

  About Us

Valor Soccer was founded April 1, 2019 -

the merging of two of the oldest and most storied youth soccer organizations in Washington state, Kent Covington Youth Soccer and Maple Valley Soccer Association.

Valor Soccer serves the communities of Auburn, Kent, Covington, Maple Valley, Ravensdale, Black Diamond, Enumclaw, and Buckley.
